Steps to replace the refrigerator thermostat


Step 1: Identifying the thermostat location

Step 4: Remove the built-in fridge thermostat

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the thermostat in place, then carefully disconnect the four wire plugs connected to the thermostat 

(remember the colored wire plugs was plugged into the thermostat before you unplugged it).

Step 5: Taking out wire sensor

Step 6: Install the new thermostat

Installation steps are reverse of the steps to remove the old thermostat.

 First, install the temperature regulation tube on the inside wall of the refrigerator;

then insert 4 different colored wire plugs  into the corresponding connectors on the thermostat;

then use screws to fix the thermostat on the outer shell; Push the bayonet end of the outer shell flat.

 In the card slot, the other end is fixed with screws.

 At this point, the installation is complete.



Step 7: Try on the fridge with newly installed thermostat

1.  Before disassembling the refrigerator thermostat, you should disconnect the power supply to the refrigerator to avoid electric shock accidents.

2.  When installing the new thermostat and connecting the wires, the four wiring plugs must be inserted into the corresponding positions.
