How to Maintain a Double-Door Coca-Cola Refrigerator?

There are many ways to maintain a Coca-Cola refrigerator. The conventional maintenance mainly includes three categories: exterior maintenance, interior maintenance, and electrical component maintenance.

Exterior Maintenance

Regularly clean the surface (it is recommended to do this once a week). Wipe the exterior surface of the refrigerator with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, stains, and fingerprints. For stubborn stains, a small amount of mild detergent can be used, such as a mixture of dishwashing liquid and water (the ratio of dishwashing liquid to water is about 1:10). However, avoid getting the detergent into the gaps or vents inside the refrigerator.

Avoid using cleaners containing abrasives or rough cleaning tools like steel wool, as they may scratch the surface coating of the refrigerator. If the surface of the refrigerator is made of stainless steel, a specialized stainless steel cleaner can also be used to keep it shiny.

Checking the door gasket is crucial for the insulation performance of the refrigerator. Regularly check whether there are any signs of damage, deformation, or aging on the door gasket. You can place a piece of paper between the door gasket and the main body of the refrigerator and then close the door. If the paper can be easily pulled out, it indicates that the door gasket may not be sealing properly.

If any problems are found with the door gasket, it can be gently wiped with warm water and a mild detergent to remove dirt. Sometimes, the accumulation of dirt can also affect the sealing effect. If the door gasket is already damaged, contact the after-sales service staff in time to replace it with a new one.

Interior Maintenance

Clean the interior. Clean the inside of the refrigerator once every 1 - 2 weeks. First, take out all the drinks and other items in the refrigerator, and then wipe the interior shelves, drawers, and walls with a damp cloth. For areas with more stains, a mixture of baking soda and water (the ratio of baking soda to water is about 1:5) can be used for cleaning.

Pay special attention to cleaning the drain hole to prevent it from getting clogged. The drain hole is usually located at the bottom inside the refrigerator. If it is found that the drain hole is clogged, it can be carefully cleaned with a toothpick or a thin wire, and then rinsed with warm water to ensure smooth drainage.
If the double-door refrigerator is a direct-cooling type, frosting may occur. When the thickness of the frost layer reaches about 5 - 10 millimeters, defrosting is required. Before defrosting, transfer the items in the refrigerator to other refrigeration equipment.

The manual defrosting method can be used, that is, turn off the power of the refrigerator, open the door, and let the frost melt naturally. During the melting process, a dry cloth can be used to absorb the melted water to prevent it from flowing onto the electrical components inside the refrigerator. Some refrigerators also have an automatic defrosting function, and it is necessary to ensure that this function operates normally.

Maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Components

Regularly check the temperature control (once a month). Check whether the temperature control settings of the refrigerator are correct. Ensure that the temperatures of the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment are maintained within appropriate ranges. Generally, the temperature of the refrigerator compartment is between 2 - 8 degrees Celsius, and the temperature of the freezer compartment is around - 18 degrees Celsius.

If it is found that the temperature of the refrigerator is unstable or inaccurate, check whether the temperature sensor is blocked or damaged. At the same time, also check whether the temperature control knob or the electronic temperature control system of the refrigerator is working normally.

Clean the condenser and compressor.

The condenser and compressor are usually located at the back or bottom of the refrigerator. They will accumulate dust during the working process, which will affect the heat dissipation and refrigeration efficiency of the refrigerator.

Every 3 - 6 months, clean the dust on the condenser and compressor with a clean brush or the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner. Note that the power plug of the refrigerator should be unplugged before cleaning to ensure safety.

Other Precautions

Avoid overcrowding. Do not place too many drinks or other items in the refrigerator. Keep an appropriate space so that the air can circulate well. Overcrowding will affect the refrigeration effect of the refrigerator, making it work harder to maintain the temperature.
The above are the methods for maintaining a Coca-Cola refrigerator. You can refer to the detailed maintenance methods of the refrigerator through the Nenwell system.
